What ages do you accept?
We currently take children from Nursery through Primary 3 (P1–P3), and we’re growing toward full primary. Not sure which class fits your child? Just ask — we’ll guide you.
What curriculum do you follow?
We follow Rwanda’s official REB Competence-Based Curriculum, taught in English, with strong foundations in literacy, numeracy, science, social studies and religious education.
Is Gatesi Excellence Academy accredited?
Yes — our pre-school is NESA-accredited. You can verify this yourself any time at ireme.nesa.gov.rw.
What are the fees, and can I pay in instalments?
Nursery minerval is 55,000 RWF/term and Primary is 75,000 RWF/term, plus a one-time 5,000 RWF registration fee for new pupils. Fees are billed per term, and split payment plans within the term can be arranged — ask the office.
Is school transport available?
For families further from campus, school transport routes can be arranged depending on demand and seating. Tell us your neighbourhood when you enquire and we’ll confirm if a route covers your area.
What documents do I need to enrol?
Your child’s birth certificate or ID information, and a previous school report if transferring from another school. Come meet the Head Teacher for placement guidance.
What time does the school day start?
Arrival is from around 7:30am. Exact lesson times can vary slightly by class — ask for the current daily timetable when you visit or enquire.
