Parents often ask how the day flows. Here is a simple picture of life at Gatesi Excellence Academy — calm routines, learning, play and care.
Morning
- Arrival & welcome (from ~7:30)
- Devotion / Christian values moment
- Circle time & readiness activities
- Core lessons (literacy, numeracy, discovery)
Midday
- Outdoor play & movement
- Porridge / light meal (where enrolled)
- Rest or quiet time for younger children
- Kinyarwanda, science or creative activity
Afternoon
- Co-curricular (sport, music, art, clubs)
- Revision games & storytelling
- Pack-up & home messages
- Dismissal (check current times with the office)
Through the week
- English-medium lessons, REB subjects
- PE / outdoor play several times a week
- Music, art & craft slots
- Hygiene & health awareness
- Parent communication via class teachers / PTA
